Hi.
I hope I'm introducing myself properly - arrived two weeks ago - tried to go through 'Introductions'.
I am Therese from North of England and in my fifties, teaching primary privately. Any safe suitable meetups would be nice??

I'm from the North of England...born and schooled in Sheffield...moved to Chester after I got married. Where are you from?
If you click here it will take you directly to our Middle East forums. We have a very lively bunch of expat members who reguarly post in the ME forums...so hopefully you'll make some new friends.
If you find yourself a little lost navigating the many BE forums...we have a team of concierges who will direct you around the website. You can find a list of their names at the bottom right hand side of this page.
The moderators for the ME forums are Bob, NorthernLad and rowell...although any mod or admin will be pleased to help you.
Please give me a shout if I can be of any further help

Hi there Therese, welcome to BE
Hope you are finding some people on the ME forum to chat with and maybe meet up with. It seems to be a little quiet in there at times, and other times a little 'lively'
If you get bored, you could always read some of the older threads and get to know a few of the 'characters'

Just don't be shy, jump in, get posting, and enjoy the fun. It's amazing how quickly you will make friends on here with likeminded people. I couldn't believe how quickly that happened for me when I joined the Goa forum where I am usually found, and have since met up with a number of members who have become friends of mine in the real as well as cyber world.
I am sure the same will happen for you.
