We have quite a few members in the main Italian forum, living in all different parts of Italy.
There are also lots of threads and discussions on all walks of Italian life, from the language and culture to schools and banks and the dreaded red tape.
Come along and have a nosey, join in whenever you want and don't hesitate to ask any questions.

Hello and a big welcome to BE.
Excellent information can be found in the BE Wiki, not forgetting the Living and Moving Abroad forum that will help you, there is also a lot more information in the Europe Forums. Yet another set of great help is the permanent threads at the TOP of each forum, they are very pertinent to that particular forum and makes sensible reading.
Moderators deal with any problems that arise such as inappropriate posts, spammers etc, you will find their names at the bottom right hand side of each forum's index in bold font.
Members in the Italian forum are very friendly and helpful so I am sure that you will soon be chatting away about a variety of things. Enjoy yourself, join in and have fun.
Please contact me if I can give you any further help.

I'm betting your little girl will be speaking Italian before you. It must be very difficult moving to a non English speaking country. Fortunately you have a little one...I think it's easier to make friends when you have a child as you socialise a lot more through them.
You'll love taking part in the Italy Forums...the people who post in there will help you out with info and tips about living in Italy.
We have a team of concierges who are assigned to various forum to help people find their way around the forums...the concierge for the Italy forum is TestaRossa.
The moderator for the Italy forum is Lorna...she has already introduced herself. Please give her a shout if you have any problems or concerns.
Please don't hesitate to shout out if you have any problems.
