Hi! My husband and I are moving to Hatatai on 16th September. We have a 2 year old boy called Sam and Sam and I are very keen to meet new friends. Can anyone give me tips on parent and toddler groups or any moving tips?? It's so exciting but also scary at the moment. Thanks

Welcome to BE!!!! And congratulations on your upcoming move to NZ. I'm sure it's a scary and exciting time.

Please go and interact in the NZ forum . Everyone there is really great at sharing info and stuff and I'm sure you will pick up a few tips so you can hit the ground running as it were.

Then once you are in NZ you will find that our New Zealand forum is a terrific support resource and you will find it a great way to help you acclimatize to your new home. Plus some of our members actually meet-up in real life, so you may end up making some real-life friends here

Excellent information can be found in the BE Wiki, not forgetting the Living and Moving Abroad forum that will help you, another set of great help is the permanent threads at the TOP of each forum, they are very pertinent to that particular forum and makes sensible reading.

Moderators deal with any problems that arise such as inappropriate posts, spammers etc, you will find their names at the bottom right hand side of each forum's index in bold font.
