Re: Hello
Hi Tabatha
Welcome to BE.
We have a forum especially for all things Australia, which is full of useful information to help you along the way, as well as a really friendly group of folks who will answer anything you wish to ask, and welcome you to some great fun and banter. The mod for the Oz forum is Alistair Boyle who is a very helpful and friendly guy.
You will find this forum by clicking on the 'foum index' button on the pink bar above, Scroll down the list of countries until you see 'Australia', then just double click and you're in. Don' forget to read any stickies which are at the top of the first page and have red titles, then jump on in and introduce yourself.
Also if the fancy takes you we have a 'working abroad' forum found just below the list of countries, which may appeal if your occupation is listed. Depending on your kids ages we have the youth club especially for teenagers, also found on the forum index page.
That just leaves me to wish you all the best luck with your plans

As Sue said we have lots of members living on the Gold Coast...I'm sure they'll be able to give you lots of tips and information about the area. I'll give you a few links to help you find your feet around the Australia forums. Here is the link to the Australia Forums...we have a great crowd of people posting in the Oz forums...they will give you advice on life Down Under. The link I have given you will take you to the main index page of the Australia Forum...at the top of the page you will see a list of sub forums. The top forum is the Immigration Forum...the Main forum is for topics relating to Australia and The Barbie is for general chit chat. Also take a look in the BE Wiki...you'll find loads of useful info in there.
Before you begin posting please take time to read through the Site Rules and any stickied threads or announcements that may be posted at the top of each forum's index page.
Kelli28 is the concierge for the Australia forums...so if you have any problems finding your way around our many forums please contact her.
For all other concerns or problems please contact a moderator or admin. Every BE forum has at least one moderator dedicated to that forum...Australia has 4...Cresta57, Monneypenny20,, Sonlymewalter and
Alistairboyle.
I hope you enjoy your time with us and don't forget to shout out should you require any help.

Hey...best of luck with the move. Exciting times for you. I think we all get some jangly nerves with country moves, but just stay cheerful and enjoy the experience.
