Moving to Canada [Eventually] Hello!
Howdy! First time poster, first time heading to Canada => maybe for life!?
I'm with a very nice American girl (met overseas teaching in Japan) and now we're thinking where to spend our future together, and Canada seems the best bet with the combination of American & British sensibilities!
We're thinking longterm so we would like to emigrate there eventually. We've already done all the calculators and are very borderline able/not able to get express entry. SO. We're going the masters/diploma->PGWP->residency->citizenship route, from next September or the year after. We're thinking either Ottawa or Calgary, but more Ottawa!
Any advice or encouragements are welcome!

Re: Moving to Canada [Eventually] Hello!
Hi, welcome to BE.
I would suggest you post in the Canadian immi section fo the forum, as there may be another visa route open to you that would (a) be more secure than a study permit and (b) cost a heck of a lot less than paying international tuition fees! If you can give full details of your CRS scores, ages, jobs, province you wish to move to etc, then some clever person may just be able to come up with another option to explore.
Pop over to the Canada forums and I'll see you there.
