Manchester Girl living in Addison/Dallas
Hi fellow Brits,
My name is Donna, I moved here in 2009, I'm married to another Brit but have no children so I am still enjoying a lot of freedom. I am looking for like minded friends who have maintained a British SOH. I work in HR Exec Search. I love the outdoors, cycling, walking, camping, uptown bars, films, Fort Worth and just getting out seeing things. I learnt to handle a fire arm when I got here, so now certified.. Ate my first calves balls and now I'm learning how to ride a horse... so I'm making the most of what Texas has to offer! If you are male/female, single/married and like a laugh please feel free to get in touch.

Hello and a big welcome to BE.
Excellent information can be found in the BE Wiki, not forgetting the Living and Moving Abroad forum that will help you, another set of great help is the permanent threads at the TOP of each forum, they are very pertinent to that particular forum and makes sensible reading.
Moderators deal with any problems that arise such as inappropriate posts, spammers etc, you will find their names at the bottom right hand side of each forum's index in bold font.
Please contact me if I can give you any further help.
Rosemary

I can't relate to the calves balls but I can to the horse riding, I started taking lessons myself a year ago.

Hi Dpyates
I see you have already found our US forum, where you will certainly find that elusive Brit humour, which is only truly understood and appreciated by fellow Brits.
That just leaves me to say welcome to BE and hope you're enjoying the Brit fix
