Default Hi New member who has lived in Australia for a number of years

Hello everyone. Stumbled across this site some time ago. Making my first post. Lived in Australia for a great number of years and will be making my first trip back to the UK in August.

Hi Pam

Welcome to BE.
We have a forum dedicated to Australia which you may want to check out and chat with other expats about life down under. You will find it by clicking the 'forum index' tab at the top lft corner of this page. Scroll down the list of countries, double click on Australai and you're in. Once in the chatting pl;ace is a thread called the barbie.
A lot of new folks in the process of moving to Australia also use the Australia forum, so I am sure that with your knowledge and experience of living there, you will be able to help them with advice and tips to help their moves go smoothly - we need folks like you.
If you have any questions about things as they are in the Uk since you left, ask away in our 'moving back o th UK' forum, where I am sure ypou will get accurate answers - I'm sure things have changed since you moved away.

Have a lovely trip back to the UK and I hope you enjoy our little 'cyber world'

Dread - x

Hello and a big welcome to BE.

Moderators deal with any problems that arise such as inappropriate posts, spammers etc, you will find their names at the bottom right hand side of each forum's index in bold font.

Where in UK will you be going to in particular or will it be a general visit to lots of different areas.

Please contact me if I can give you any further help.
