hey guys, london to la
hey, as a cocktail bartender of 8 years, i want to take my experience and challenge myself with the american way and am looking to get out there this year.

The city, or the state? Big difference.
Anyway, welcome to BE and good luck! Though unless you're American or married to one, based on being a bartender, you won't be getting a visa for work.
The wiki up top, has a good explanation of ways in, so that really leaves you with a wedge of cash to invest, or go and study.
