Hello everyone,
Just want to say I have found reading all the discussions on this website so helpful!!
Myself (a nurse), my husband (sales manager) and my 2 year old daughter have (after many talks over the past 10 years) decided to look seriously at making the move over.
We have travelled the east coast back in 2002, but never been to Perth, so have found the information on here really interesting, and our planning a trip over in Sept to see it for ourselves.
It is nice to have the support and experiencesof people who have been through or currently going through this process. Will keep you posted on our progress, at very early enquiry stages so far, but have told most of the family now.
Bye for now x

You've come to the right place for information about moving to Perth. We have a large membership living in the Perth area. They are a smashing group...I'm sure they will help you out with tips and advice. Why don't you pop over to our Australia Forums and say hello?
The link I have given you will take you to the main index page of the Australia Forum...at the top of the page you will see a list of sub forums. The top forum is the Immigration Forum...the Main forum is for topics relating to Australia and The Barbie is for general chit chat. You will also see a Meet-Ups Forum...many of our members have regular get togethers...so you may make some real life friends as well as cyber friends. Also take a look in the BE Wiki...you'll find loads of useful info in there.
Before you begin posting please take time to read through the Site Rules and any stickied threads or announcements that may be posted at the top of each forum's index page.
Kelli28 is the concierge for the Australia forums...so if you have any problems finding your way around our many forums please contact her.
For all other concerns or problems please contact a moderator or admin. Every BE forum has at least one moderator dedicated to that forum...Australia has 4...Cresta57, Monneypenny20,, Sonlymewalter and Alistairboyle.
I hope you enjoy your time with us and don't forget to shout out should you require any help.

Hi,
Yes finding my way round no pobs thank you! Great site...I'm totally addicted!! It has been so helpful, I have just sent off my AHPRA reg docs, so fingers crossed!!!
Once that comes back I will apply for ss, then 176 visa, in the hope that we will be moving out next year...house going on market soon as very slow over here.
You are right about the shopping here in Notts, will def miss that!! Am planning on a huge shopping trip before we come, so may need a big container to ship over!! Is there anything I should stock up on that you can't get easily in oz?
