Hello, I'm about to move to TX
Hey! I've just had my visa approve and once my passport is back I'll be moving to north Texas with my wife's parents, then looking to move down to Austin. Just thought I'd introduce myself. Not really looking for any advice in particular, just thought I'd say hello!

We have quite a few members in the Lone Star state. Many live in the Houston area but I think we have a few around Austin.
Below is the link to our US forums. You may not need advice but sometimes it's nice to be able to let off steam with other expats...or join in with the witty sarcasm.
USA - British Expats
I look forward to seeing you over there.

Hello and a big welcome to BE.
Excellent information can be found in the BE Wiki, not forgetting the Living and Moving Abroad forum that will help you, another set of great help is the permanent threads at the TOP of each forum, they are very pertinent to that particular forum and makes sensible reading.
Moderators deal with any problems that arise such as inappropriate posts, spammers etc, you will find their names at the bottom right hand side of each forum's index in bold font.
Please contact me if I can give you any further help.
