Hello people

I am a 28yr old, current serving marine engineer on submarines within the Royal Navy. I am currently wanting to leave the service and peruse a better life and career overseas, preferably within the engineering sector.

I have joined this forum in order to gain knowledge on where to start with something like this, job searching, immigration etc etc. So all information provided would be a great help to myself.

I look forward to hearing what ever advice and tips you may have, and will spend my time trawling through the forums.

Do you have a particular preference for a country to migrate to? BE is structured into different forums, one for each country or region. Some of these have different sub-forums, eg one for general queries, one specifically for questions regarding visa requirements, etc. Let me know if you need a pointer to a specific forum.
