Hi I'm British and very recently married a Canadian citizen (we are same sex). I've been here since last September (my first time in Canada). I'm on a visitor record with a six month extension until this September. We were planning on submitting an In Canada application for PR this July but I have to return to England in May for two weeks due to family reasons. We are now concerned about my being refused entry upon my return when I explain to the customs officer of my spouses intensions to sponser me whilst I'm here as a visitor. I believe this is called duel intent. I just want to be honest with customs so we won't run into any problems once our application has been submitted. We are also considering an Out of Canada application but in honasty we are confused as to the best option.Please can anyone help? Thanks
