Hello all.
I was pointed to these board by my mum (veronica), as I am planning to leave the UK for Canada next year with my fiancée and was told this is a very good place to get info and find out about other peoples experiences when emigrating. I will try not to ask too many stupid questions while here and look forward to being part of this community.

. Your Mum sounds like a sensible person.
Best place for you to ask some questions is in the Canada section. I think you should be able to find it from the main index page but, if you have problems, just shout.

What part of Canada are you moving to? I recently moved to Toronto and I am pleased to say that spring is here. Do pop over to our Canada forums (the link is below)...the forum regulars will do their best to help you with any questions you may have.
