Hello all. Just joined here
My name is Rob or as most call me Robby. I was born in Headley UK and am in Canada for the last year and a bit.
My hobbies,well I like photography,old Hollywood movie stars,anything British since I miss home,music of all sorts and I play piano rather well.
I am not so sure I would consider myself an expatriate or not since I have no intention of staying in Canada. Just miss home is all.

Hello Robby and welcome to BE.
I'm sorry to hear you can't settle in Canada...sometimes it can take several years to put down new roots. My daughter went to uni in Toronto...for the first couple of years she was unsettled but now she is very happy living and working there.

and maybe make some friends along the way.Canada's a wonderful country; but I know it ain't home. Still and all give it a chance.....
