This has blown us away - Moving to Australia
Hi guys thought i'd say hello has we've gleaned info from the site has we've gone along.
Looked into moving to Oz about 4 years ago as a skilled migrant but the upper age limit at the time ruled us out so we dropped the idea. Then on the 1st June this year i got a call from a recruitment company asking if i'd be interested in a job in Oz which payed a good wage and a relocation package we were blown away. Its been a bit of a roller coaster ride since then but the company submitted their nomination application a couple of weeks ago and i sent our visa app in last Thursday we've been advised it could be 4 to 8 weeks so now we wait, fingers crossed.

Wow what a change of fortunes...it's funny how things work out isn't it? Where about in Australia are you moving to?

Excellent information can be found in the BE Wiki, not forgetting the Living and Moving Abroad forum that will help you, another set of great help is the permanent threads at the TOP of each forum, they are very pertinent to that particular forum and makes sensible reading.
Moderators deal with any problems that arise such as inappropriate posts, spammers etc, you will find their names at the bottom right hand side of each forum's index in bold font.
