Hi Everyone,

I've been in Canada just over four years (originally from Sussex), however myself and my boyfriend have recently moved to Nova Scotia for a change of scenery.

I've been a bit of a lurker on this forum for a while, so have finally decided to take the plunge and join up

So where abouts in Canada did you move from?

We moved from Calgary. We both didn't mind living in Calgary, but we fancied trying something new. We were very lucky in that I managed to get a transfer within my company, so it was relatively easy to move.

So far I'm enjoying Nova Scotia and I'm certainly not missing the really cold winter temperatures of Alberta

Welcome to BE - glad you have taken the plunge and joined in.
If you haven't already, check in on our Canada forum where you can chat with other expats who are living nearby...they will be able to advise of all the good places to go etc....which always helps when you have just moved somewhere. Then just enjoy making new friends..
