Family considering moving to Bulgaria

Family considering moving to Bulgaria
Hello to everybody,
We are new members and would like to ask if anybody has moved to Bulgaria from the UK, and could anybody advise us of of the implications to do this.
I am a UK citizen and my wife is a non eu citizen but she has a leave to remain visa for the UK but we will need to apply for FLR in May 2016.
We want to move to Bulgaria later this year,we and hope somebody can advise us if we could apply for a family permit for my wife as a family member of a EU Citizen when we have moved. Or would we need to still use the current visa she has?
Any help or advice would be very gratefully received.
