Cheshire to NorCal
Hi All! currently exploring the option offered by my company of moving to the bay area on a L1 visa. Will be bringing with me my family - daughter (8), son (6), and wife (still 21!)
Currently at the stage that we've just finished our week long recce and all was positive. We are looking around Livermore/Pleasanton as places to live as we have friends there already.
Have been reading through the forums & already found loads of useful info, Im sure we will be on here a lot. Thanks for having me (us)!

I'm assuming you mean northern California. Nice to know that you have found a viable visa to get you and your family to the US. As you have said you have searched the forums, I'm assuming you have the USA forums and know your L1 visa questions are to be posted in the US Immigration Visa forum. General questions regarding social security cards, driver's licenses, car registration, schools, housing, etc. should be asked in the USA forum. Also we have a wiki with points to help you in your move.
Be forewarned that you will be asked personal questions, i.e. your salary, your relocation package, etc., when you first start to ask questions in the USA forum.
