System's due for a melt down pretty soon IMO. Last attempt at full reform was Hillary's at the start of Bill's reign -- it was a stupidly complicated proposal that died the death it deserved.
Even our next door, born-again, fish and "W" bumper sticker, 60 year old told me: "We need universal health care." Americans don't usually fix stuff till it's totally broke, e.g. immigration.

maine has been trying something out, for the people that are being covered, it ain't bad, for everyone else, it sucks because it's well expensive, and a mare to get it if your in middle ground, great for the old farts though that are retiring...
