I had my account emptied... BOFA refunded me and had a new card just in case sent out within 2 days. No questions asked, no major investigations or anything.

sad that it can happen, but I liked their response....

now pay in a large check(que) and I hate them... 30 days hold for anything above $5k is absurd.

if you ask they can take the hold off sometimes....

we asked, they said no, I asked again more stenuously... they said no... I asked WHY they said... "because" and so I left..

Chase doesn't have this hold... and with the way stock schemes, royalties etc get paid out to us... I'm happy to move to them for this alone.
