It holds for all couples, really; some women in the US find themselves in this situation and need to move "home" with family to cut costs and re-enter the workforce. They are just as trapped, and if they live in a high cost of living area, or an area without jobs for their skills, they're screwed.

So -- don't have kids unless you are as sure as sure can be that your marriage will hold and that your spouse will support you if you give up your career. Mine stated at one point during the situation that whether I lived or died didn't matter to him.

For myself ..I can't see the remotest possibilty ....
I don't even really want to visit there again ...

I feel the same way -which, is why I am making my family visit me LOL .. and even my brother agrees - they prefer and love to come here... after all, I can fit all of them in my house and put them all up in luxury rooms and each can have their own bathroom!

I am still trying to figure out this country so, I would probably stay for a least five years.
