I should have clarified...16 years ago I was whisked into my job...most likely not because of my accent/nationality but it didn't hurt. Things are different now and yes teachers are being laid off. It doesn't hurt to have something to help set you apart from the crowds.

It was a private pre-K school 16 years ago...let me know if you want the name of the school so you can report them??
