working for a Canadian company while in the US
Hi,
I'm from the UK, but I have perm res in Canada.
I would like to visit the US for 3 months and take a break from work.
However, my Canadian employer said that they would be ok with me working remotely for them while I'm there.
so here's my question.
if I'm in the US on a tourist 3 month visa, would the US authorities mind me working for a Canadian company while I'm there? the money would be paid into my Canadian bank account.

I believe Canadian PRs, like Canadian citizens, can enter the US visa free for up to 6 months. Canada does not participate in the visa waiver program (VWP).
Yes... it's illegal. Note that it'll be you, and not your Canadian employer who will get into trouble.
