My card arrived yesterday (pretty fast) and I took a trip to the Social Security office today to apply for my SSN.
Sat inline for just 10 minutes (one of the benefits of living in a small town) and I'll get my card in a couple of weeks.
Next, it will be a trip to the DMV when the SS card arrives so I can finish what I started months ago. I hope they have my written test scores on file so I can got straight to the practical.
Things are finally moving fast and it feels good for a change.
