Well folks, L1A visa interview on Friday!
Staying in Hyde Park (the area, not the park obviously), so a little less nervous about getting there on time.
Got everything ready, hopefully I'll be in and out in a few hours.
Will let you know how I get on, I fly out on the 7th so hopefully it's a piece of cake and I get a visa approved!

Good luck!
Not sure why you would be nervous about getting there on time from Hyde Park.
What is this with people booking flights before they have their visa? Too late for you, but I strongly advise against it.

Please let us know how you go on and your experience today

Turned up at 0730 for 0830 interview.
Small laptop bag, with my documents and two phones in it (no laptop).
Breezed through security, was allocated a number. Seen within 30 mins and handed my forms over. Waited 45 mins to pay $500 fee as cashier system was down. Then a quick interview about work and then home for tea and medals.
I was there for an L1A

Good luck! I have mine next Tuesday (25th) at 8am -_- Thankfully I live in South East London and can get the Jubilee Line straight to Bond Street, so it shouldn't be too bad.
I've also booked my flight ... but I'm also going on holiday there! So if it all goes horribly wrong I'll just need to book a flight home again ...

Just a few data points for those interested in it:
Appointment was on 14th of July (Friday)
Received notification of shipment today - 18th of July (Tuesday)
Can't wait to see what my ugly mug looks like on the visa!
Also a little gutted as I had to cancel a business trip to dubai next week because my passport wasn't back in time
Hey ho, movers are coming instead!
