Since I didn't do thanksgiving, it'll be turkey for Christmas.

I can only stomach turkey in small quantities, so no, we won't be having turkey.

Frankly I'm a bit at a loss as to what to do about Christmas dinner. In past years we would always go to my mum's, so I've never really had to think about this before.

Suggestions anyone? (Not ham though...)

I'm not sure I've ever seen a (dead) goose here - but then I haven't looked

Roast beef seems a better idea though.

Actually I quite fancy a leg of lamb, but they are soooooooo expensive here!

But I just can't seem to get into the Christmas spirit this year...

We'll be having chicken and some sunday lunch stuff, maybe with some thanksgiving type dishes thrown in

There are Canda Geese everywhere - and goodness knows how many people go out hunting them ! I'm sure someone must have a good recipe.

The Merlot will be Christmas night, after I've finished unwrapping my one present.

Not in our household. Turkey is for Thanksgiving. Ham is for Easter. Christmas is usually a beef dish, i.e. Standing Rib Roast and some type of pasta dish.
