why are visa/passport photos always crap?!
So I've got my medical interview tomorrow....one step further to joining you lot all over there woo-hoo!
Yeah, so I had to get my US sized visa photos done today, so I went along to Max Spielmanns and showed them the specifications etc etc, I had even tried practising my 'happy but not smiling' look in the mirror. So I'm standing by the screen, and the woman comes out from behind her desk and she's like 4ft tall!
So now I've got 6 really unattractive, gormless looking visa photos, with a bog eye and double chin....shame I didn't try practising my pose from a 70 degree angle!!

Didn't USCIS scrap the 3/4 face possition photos a year or so ago for every application?
I get mine done at the closest CVS to me. The person who takes the pictures there is quite literally 4'10 or less and I'm 6'2 and it always makes me laugh when she goes out the back to get a box to stand on so she can take the picture.

but i doubt if only seeing 3/4 of my face would have made me look less demented in these circumstances.....probably would have made it look worse! lol
