We could send them truck loads if they want...via the witness relocation program obviously.

We could cede from the Union but I think our official language would rapidly become Spanish. No, I think the best thing would be to surgically remove the Orlando Metro area and cast it adrift in the Atlantic...just means we'd have another big fresh water lake togo with Okeechobee.
I heard somewhere that Florida gets 41,000,000 visitors per year.

So I wanna go - get out of this place and start a life in the USA. I am trying to figure out:
Am I eligible?
How much money do I really need?
Do I get a visa first?
Or do I just go through immigration processes using a lawyer?
How quickly will I have a house bought?
Will the dogs get over there okay?
Why can't I get an answer from four corners?
And then the biggest blow of all - can I actually get a job in my field of expertise - having a degree and soon an MA in the cultural sector (who wants that?)
My partner should have no trouble...IT expertise...although...
Constructive thoughts welcome.

Just a general announcement on the theme of getting to the US --
Out here in WA there aren't enough local IT people to fill all the new computing jobs that are being created, and so companies (including Microsoft) are starting for the first time in 5 years to advertise for people to come out here on H1 visas.
Here's one from Jobserve.co.uk, I'm sure more will follow....

Wish it had been that easy for me!!
Good hunting!
