Where Did You Marry Your US Spouse?
Since Manc brought up the subject of wedding anniversaries, I'd just like to know where you married, both country and location. I'm kind of curious...

Married in Westminster Register Office in Central London. Took honeymoon some months later in Paris (France, not TX) after I-130 visa had been obtained for me.
Not into the religious stuff nor the wedding getup so I wore blue at my wedding

At the court house in Petoskey Mich, MIL snivelled, hubbies best friend sniggered ... and the kids were shell shocked (we'd got them out of bed before noon!)

I voted for US church. Although we had a church pastor perform the ceremony, we actually got married in a cave! Well, we wanted something different and memorable to get married and spend our wedding night!

Hinckley Register Office, Leics. My wife had to get 24 days residency in the UK before we could marry. We then had the wedding blessed in our church here in the USA. Still on honeymoon.

Re: Where Did You Marry Your US Spouse?
We were married in a courthouse ceremony in Kentucky (you can get a marriage license & ceremony performed on the same day). Our honeymoon was a manic flight up to the British Consolate in Chicago 2 days later to get my newly-adorned passport with UK Wife visa sticker (as Fed Ex and snowstorms don't go together), and 3 days later flew to the UK...
As easy as the paperwork was to get into the UK, it seemed much less painless getting hubby's spouse Visa!
