what jobs do you do?
what jobs do you do in the US and what did you do in the UK, or the other way round depending on which side of the pond you are currently!

its just interesting to see how others careers have panned out since emigrating, and if many people were able to find similar jobs to what they were doing/experienced in. maybe a little nosey but if you dont want to answer you dont have to!! 
obviously i dont know how many of you moved over to the US through marriage or work (i think that would be nosey), so for some the answers might be the same in the US as the UK.

I was a programmer/network administrator in the UK and am a programmer/DBA/tech support/server engineer here. I'm hoping one day to just be a bloody programmer
