got rid of a disco (pos) so now just have my slob 900 until I get a second...
I've had the car for about 2 years and have already done nearly 75k miles!!!

Toyota Yaris is a pretty teeny car but after hearing the gory details of the accident my husband's colleague had in one I won't be putting my 4 year old in one any time soon. Although the bright side was that the Taurus that hit it came out fine

It's a big myth that small cars are more dangerous than big ones. Freakonomics has a big piece on them (as do numerous other car bores).

Last time I looked, Ohio was still part of the United States. Nissan is made in Tennessee. Both BMW and M-B have plants in the American South. NUMI up in Fremont CA has been a joint venture of GM and Toyota for a long time.
VW used to have a US plant -- and I used to own a US built Rabbit -- it broke me of Volkswagens.
