You know its because they only use 110v here so they have to charge twice as much.
Actually that makes me think...anyone else find it odd that America is the land of supersize yet they only use 110v, their gallons are 25% smaller and their miles are 10% shorter than ours. Wonder why.

we do live in a 3000 square foot house and we do have a pool filter running which uses a fair amount of electricity but theres only 4 of us , I suspect all the neighbours are hooked up to us...
