Sometimes I think US companies take their customers for a ride and treat them like they're all stupid, not retail companies but service companies like cable providers etc...

How about Free Parking at all malls and parking lots. I remember it costing my sister in law upwards of £25 to park for 4 hours in the Cambridge city centre.

Maybe it's the women with the big bappers that make your dining experience extremely pleasant that you don't notice poor service...

Re: What Americana should the U.K. adopt
There are loads of things that the UK would do well from adopting from the US:
Most of them have been mentioned earlier, but the one major gripe I have, and yes I know it is the other way round here, but for God sakes, would someone please teach the Americans how to hold a knife and for correctly.
God help my kids if they try to hold their knife and fork the "American way"
Blood and tears

The "non-American" way is more efficient if you are having to use your knife a lot, but if you are only using the fork, might as well keep it in your good hand.

My Mrs thinks that in the UK we should have mixer taps on all kitchen and bathroom sinks as seems standard in the US. Have to admit she has a point.

Plus, don't patronize me. I'm not one of those waitresses? OK?

There are two ways to get "humungous bappers." One is to have a "humungous-all-over" woman, and the other is to have breast augmentation surgery. You'd have to import one or both of those methods to achieve your goal. There's the odd case of genetic overendowment but it's far less common than what you are seeing!
I wonder how folks'd feel if a woman posted a list of physical faults she perceives in British men. Somehow I don't think it would be perceived as humourous at all.

Actually, it does, so long as I can detect that it was intended as humour and not intended seriously. Even then some things passed off as jokes really aren't. I'd say my reaction is more typical of being female than American.
