aye - i had my third baby 6 weeks after moving into the this house and i wouldn't have wanted to cut it any finer !

Part of the reason why we were little aggressive. I would like to think we paid 10-15 below intial offer than thinking 10-15 above valuation. Over 30 years its nothing. Tough wood. Now baby plans will be full swing !!

Not sure exactly what I'm going to do, but what I do know is, I don't need a 2,700 sq. ft. 4 bedroom house that is a maintenance nightmare when I'm only there 12 weeks a year, if I'm lucky! The girlfriend has finally acknowledged that we would be better off selling it, and that has been the stumbling block (well, that and the market!). I'm actually loving my time in Scottsdale; not enough to quit the Bay Area completely, but my goal is to get something smaller in the Bay Area - easier to maintain, cheaper. The only challenge seems to be, a decent condo can easily run $4-500k, which means I won't cash out much - which is part of my longer term retirement goal.
