When I was in the US over they ad Otis Spunkmeyer pastries at the Hotel breakfast bar. I did giggle every time I saw them!

Yepper .. we have Otis Spunkmeyer cookies at work ... and we cook them in a special Otis Spunkmeyer cookie oven ! The name made me chuckle when I first saw it too.

it seems the name is only offputing if you are male! The fairer sex seem to find it amusing.

They were mighty tasty

I suspect the strange name is part of the marketing strategy. It certainly got us talking about the company.

Company Facts
World Headquarters: San Leandro, California

President and CEO: John S. Schiavo

The Famous Name: Otis Spunkmeyer is not a real person, but a name dreamed up by the founder's then 12-year old daughter.

very advanced for her years no doubt...
