I think it depends on what you get, the one's that the in-laws got were a waste of time as the leaves just clogged that up instead stopping the water so it went everywhere...

My late friend Glen was a roofer for about 40 years and he thought that it was best to just get the gutter cleaned. He was usually right about that kind of stuff.

We looked into the gutter covers when this house was built but everyone said they were more trouble than they're worth. We just have regular gutters...never had then cleaned out and lived here for 8 yrs with no problems.

1,000 years of history and culture. We ran 2/5 the planet and all we can think about to discuss is "guttering".
Truly, its disturbing.
I do have a collection of Police badges in case there is anyone still awake.
