This is what my fiancee was told when he checked recently. Does anyone know about this? Any recent timelines for 129F process through VSC.

September 27 - Sent original submission of I-129F to Vermont Service Center
September 30 - VSC receives submission per return receipt
[October - Audits begin and are to run for about 2 weeks]
October 10 - Vermont cashes check for filing fee of $110
October 15 - Received first NOA from VSC dated October 7, 2002
did your fiance ask why there was a backlog or if it was due to the recent
audit?
i agree with lisa about the audit slowing the process down a bit. i
wouldn't worry about it too much as vermont seems to have a pretty good
rep.with regards to processing the K1. i feel lucky to be dealing with them
rather than Nebraska who seem to be putting a lot of folks through long
wait times with no definitive answers as to when they will get their noa's.
as always, best of luck to all.

OH Wa!!! Why don't you all stop your whining and have a little
patience. I waited 86 days through the TSC.

Hi,
I mailed in a petition on 10/01/02 to VSC, my attorney recieved acknowledgment
on 10/20/02.
I called today with a case # through the automated system to check status.
INS received my application on 10/07/02
and the current processing time is 15 to 21 days. Counting from Oct. 7th and
allowing 21 days i shall get a response on approval no later then the end of
the month. Hope i helped you somehow. Good Luck!

Sorry to pour cold water on your story...
Mailed 129F to VSC on the 23rd Sept.
Arrived at VSC 24th Sept
NOA1 received in Fiancees hands on the 10th Oct but receipted on the 28th
Sept.. 15-12 days (hmmm)
Cheque cached on the 10th Oct..
No NOA2 as yet.. (Oct 23rd)
VSC issue update for processing times on the 15th Oct stating at that point
they were working on the 20th September petitions..
So.. the 21 days is a bit of a no go.. Bearing in mind that VSC was in
audit at the begining of october..
Biting fingers..
