Voting in UK elections
Hi all I need a bit of guidance, with the European Elections coming up I would like to register to vote in that election as I have voted in every election since I was 18. Is there still time for me to register to vote and register for a proxy vote? also the only form of UK ID I have it my passport, I am sure you will understand that I do not want to trust the mail to carry such an important document publicly to my proxy back in Northern Ireland, is there a way that I can just send my passport to either the British consulate in Houston or the British Embassy in Washington? as I fear that if I send it back home I will never see my passport again.

From a cursory look, it only seems to need your signature.

You can only vote for 10 years away I think it is?
Anyway, get a proxy vote sorted as the postal one usually doesn't arrive in enough time to count.
