It's interesting that someone is leaking these EAs (previous leaks have proved accurate). Either that's a deliberate policy on the part of the Trump administration, or there's a "mole" in there.
There are moles in all the White House departments and all the administration depts. These are posting on twitter and leaking all sorts of details, the vast majority of which do seem accurate.

The visa application was a success

Awaiting return of updated passports.

Phew!

Bit of an anti-climax isn't it?

Hey, well we're naturally very pleased and relieved about the outcome.

As for the process, yes it's not so exciting after all the anxiety. They should award a little trophy or something hehe.

Their computer system was down that day so they actually handled it all pretty well.

So, now things are looking increasingly real, we've got to wrap up our UK stuff, sharpish!

Let the adventure begin

Also, at least now having done this once I won't be so afraid of it for the future.

Thanks. We're starting out in New York. Never thought we would end up there but it's a fun place and the good thing for us is it's a short hop over the sea, the flight back home for visits at 6-6.5 hours will be great for us as we pop back and forth

As opposed to the West coast, which I like but is that bit further away from friends, family and things we enjoy in Europe!

Exciting times ahead!

I'm still not quite sure it has sunk in yet.

It will once our house is empty and we're jumping on a plane.

I remember going home from London with my wife going through the list of what we had to do in a short time before getting on the plane. At that point, i was sure it had all been a mistake!!!
