Default Visa Interview Tomorrow

So after over a year of planning and quite a large amount of money invested and further funds lined up to be invested, I lie awake shattered but unable to sleep for tomorrow is the day of our interview for our visa (E2).

In fact, that's a lie! It's been much more than 12ish months! I first experienced the USA properly 20+ years ago where I really felt I had a connection with the place and loved the people. I have always had a mind for business in general and ever since those tender days felt the desire and drive to start and operate a business within the US of A.

We have a start at some ungodly hour and I lie here watching the clock tick down willing myself to catch a bit of shut-eye. Currently listening to my wife sleeping next to me - like a child without a care in the world!! Don't tell her this but she just rolled onto her other side and is now snoring! Ha

I'm not nervous. Not nervous at all - that's not the cause of my apparent insomnia. It's everything going around in my head. I know my application pack inside out and back to front, I can answer questions about any aspect of the business off the cuff and am better prepared for what is likely to be a few minutes of interview than I ever was for exams during my education and yet I still am trying to come up with questions that I could possibly be asked during my interview and work out how best to answer them as required as required.

Writing this, it has occurred to me that I have no idea what we're going to do once the interview is over. I have plans to go to London, parking, breakfast etc - it's planned like a military operation with Waze configured to determine the length of time it'll take at that hour etc however after the interview, nothing! I guess we'll either be drinking champagne early enough to make it look like we have a problem...or drowning our sorrows...most likely in Champagne also knowing us!

So, good night and God speed all - I'll be up in a few short hours to head to London and what will hopefully be the beginning of the next chapter in our life!

Best wishes for tomorrow. However, can you explain why you are shattered? You haven't lost your dream. You haven't lost your investment monies? So what happened to cause you to be shattered?

PS Champagne is drank when you have a reason to celebrate not when you have to drown your disappointment. For that you need scotch.

Thank you for the good wishes!

By shattered I meant really rather tired as opposed to the dream being shattered or similar.

We drink Champagne all the time here! No ready supply of Bud Light you see

So, got to London and just sitting down to enjoy breakfast at The Dorchester before heading over to the embassy in half an hour.

Still not nervous.

Got a bit of sleep but not much!

Yes, appeared to be. The OP posted it was successful then randomly deleted their post. Now the post which quoted their reply has been deleted (no idea why you would do that).

It was an E-2, not an EB-5.
