we previously live in NC on L1B (husband) and L2 (me and son)

we moved out of USA as our visas expired and now we are returning next month to Dallas Texas.

We had SSN issued to us when we live in NC are these still valid.. or do we need to apply for new SSN?

They should still be valid: if your visa has changed then the conditions on the SSN may have changed: you'll need to go and see them (I think that is after at least 10 days though someone else may be able to correct that).

What visa are you returning on?

Your SSN will stay the same, those numbers are yours for life.

They will still be valid. SS numbers are for life!


No, she won't. Until she has a green card, if there's anything written on the back of her card, that legend is also still valid.
