Couple of weeks ago I posted a wedding aniversary card to my inlaws on the Friday...they received it Monday.

I never really understood the square card thing...never taken any notice of it but have never had a problem.

it's really very simple.

if you mail a square envelope it will require extra postage and it usually states this on the envelope although not always. the reason being is that the USA postal service equipment cannot cope with square envelopes and so they have to be dealt with by hand...ffs!

I was under the impression that it was much longer at least in some areas. I had to use a courier service for a lot of extra $$ due to the strike. Thornton's couldn't use the Royal Mail when I had something delivered in the UK for the same reason. These occasions were over a 2 month period.
