I'll answer your question:

I didn't WANT to leave Britain, I had no stronger need to come live in America.

I was out here for a summer and met my now husband, and I moved out here to marry him.

4 years down the line, I prefer to stay in the US than move back to Britain, but that may change. Then again I go back at least 4 plus times a year, so I see quite a bit of it!!

It is v. hard to come and live here legally. Most of us are here through work or marriage.
