Hi All,
Does anyone know if I can claim tax back on the purchase of goods in Los Angeles on the way to Sydney?
I'm hoping to buy a laptop in LA.
I remember seeing notices in airports about claiming back tax or vat when leaving that country, but never really paid any attention.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

There's no VAT in the U.S. I don't think you can get a refund on California sales tax.
