Normally you get one account for healthcare and one for dependent care.
They allow you to contribute pre tax dollars each pay period.
I used dependent care account to fund my sons pre-school education.
As its tax free money its basically getting you 30% or so off of what you would have orginally paid. It certainly saved me some money, two kids in full day at a good school for 2 years can add up.
You might want to start pumping some dollars into a healthcare account too, especially having the two kids. Also setting up a 529 plan for their college education might be a good idea for you too.
regarding property, I find http://www.realtor.com/ a good web site for checking on house prices in any area. http://www.zillow.com/ is good too.
