UK state pension paid into US credit union?
Does anyone have their UK state pension paid into a US credit union? If so, was there any problem with it not being a 'bank'?

I don't have my State pension paid into my US credit union account, but I do transfer money from the UK into both a credit union account and sometimes a bank account. There is no difference between a US bank and credit union when it comes to transferring money from the UK. They both use account numbers and an IBAN number to identify the bank. Hope that helps.

I have mine deposited to my USA brokerage account, same thing. They say it is cheaper because they benefit from changing very large amounts of currency to dollars.
