Hiya Frank. Er............ I read about it in an old book about sayings.
Yep horrid day today, closed the blinds at seven 'cos I'd had enough. Trouble is we were spoiled last week, I even had thoughts of putting the patio furniture out.

We live about an hour an & half drive from Sedona & they had little snow this winter, so not much skiing going on. It certainly is beautiful up there, a visit to Slide Rock Park is a must, especially in the summer. We found a great restaurant that served awesome fish & chips, we went back last time when we were up there. It was all dark inside, so we went into the hotel entrance & asked when they opened. They said they had skipped out on the lease, there one day, gone the next, with no word.

lucky you living so close to Sedona.we stayed with some friends in Scottsdale which i also liked a lot, enjoyed it more than Houston but not been here long enough yet to judge it fairly yet though not a lot of scenery going on!Loved the flowering cacti, however one young lady i was chatting to said she'd love to go to England to see all the lovely gardens cos she misses the green

We've been a few times, but the one time when it was warm enough to float down Slide Rock River, we had our son with us, so it was out of the question. So we'll be leaving him with his Nana & going to have some fun all by ourselves, we can't wait!!!

You all (or Y'all in the south :0) are lucky... i still have to sit here on this sinking island until i can get a f*ing visa!
I cant wait to be able to bitch about how great things are in the good ol USA compared to the UK.
It really is getting granny sellingly expensive to do anything here now.
I will give you an example.......
cost to get my car to tube stn at very end of central line..... 3 quid
cost to park my car for the day 4 quid
cost to ride a cattle transport into London 8 quid
cost to have a sandwich, coke and crisps for lunch 4 quid
cost of hearing every american tourist ask if the crystal palace TV antenna is the eiffel tower.... priceless!
