Default UK Pension/NI Contributions

This is a subject I am clueless on 100%!
Who pays NI contributions from the US? Do you have the contact address/website/tel no handy? Does this guarantee that you will get your UK pension? We won't be due to get a state (UK) pension for another 31/33 years... will there even be a pension available then?

Is there a government state pension in the US or is it down to each individual to get a private pension?

(Feel all sleepy now talking about pensions!!!)

This has been asked on previous occasions.

Just go to the 'Search Forums' box at the top of the forum list page and type in 'National Insurance Contributions'.
