not forgetting that just because a country allow the passport to just be vailid for the intended travel duration time - it doesnt mean that the airlines cannot insist on longer, as i know a lot of airlines insist on 6 months validity to enter the UK but uk immigration is fine with just the duration.... the airlines then over rule as they can simply deny people on the board if they dont conform to their rules.....
