Depends. Each city/school district will have different times. Could be part time or full day too.
Do you know what city?

I agree. Google the school district that serves the city or town that you're interested in.

Our Kindergarten starts at 8.30am and finishes at 2.55pm. As the other replies state, this varies from town to town. The two towns next to us only have half day kindergarten programs, start at 8.30am finish at 11.30am or start at 12pm and finish at 3pm. Some towns have extended day Kindergarten that would start at 8.30am and finish around 1.50pm. You can pay for private Kindergarten which would be full day. Do you know which school district you are looking at in particular?

Ours starts are 9am and finishes around 12. Then there is another class in the afternoon (ie its 3 hours a day only). My daughter then has wrap program in the afternoons at the school (we pay for it) which takes her to 3pm.
Its taken a little time for her to adjust from Reception in the UK to this schedule (somewhat bored I'd guess!).
It changes based on which town you are in - we are in Long Hill.

Hi all, The districts that we have been looking at are Princeton, Middletown, Red Bank, Little Silver and Shrewsbury. Also, if anyone can advise on any of these areas in terms of community feel and practicality in terms of coming to the area as a newbie?
